DJ Darth
Madonna in trouble.....again
That being said, the song (which is called Sorry) maybe one of the catchiest pop/dance songs I've heard in a few years. And thanks to the magic of the internets, here is the uncensored version for everyone to enjoy. Do you bite your thumb at me ma'am?

Isaac Hayes is a turd sandwich
This is complete and utter bull shit. This show makes fun of Judaism and Catholicism on almost a weekly basis, and Mr. Hayes has been cashing checks from this show for almost 10 years. Then they do ONE show on his so called "religion" and he has the gall to call it bigotry and intolerance? You know what, fuck him, good riddance, don't let the door hit you on the way out.
Of course Matt Stone, the creator of South Park had a few things to say about it and I think he pretty much nailed it on the head:
"This has nothing to do with intolerance and bigotry and everything to do with the fact that Isaac Hayes is a Scientologist and that we recently featured Scientology in an episode of 'South Park."
"In 10 years and over 150 episodes of 'South Park,' Isaac never had a problem with the show making fun of Christians, Muslims, Mormons and Jews. He got a sudden case of religious sensitivity when it was his religion featured on the show. To bring the civil-rights struggle into this is just a non sequitur.
I hope they do a show in the near future absolutely skewering this guy.

Portamento Records

Portamento is a local record label started by 2 local DJ's, David Farlow (aka Morphunk) and Nino Anthony. Every Friday night for the past few months they have been totally rocking the upstairs of the Carlisle Club. Their night has become so popular that on March 31st, they will be banging out their dirty electro beats in the main room downstairs, which is much, much bigger and puts the sound system upstairs to shame. Just to give you an idea, last week the fire marshall showed up because they had too many people upstairs, and they also blew 3 speakers.
I always have a great time going to their nights, and I am glad to see they are doing so well. They recently have released some of their tracks on a pretty major website. Major props must also go to the Carlisle club for hosting and promoting this night, when most other night clubs in Columbus would not do such a good job of hosting, promoting, and supporting EDM. Check out ther MySpace site for video and audio samplings. I hope to pick up a few of their tracks on vinyl once they are released (CD only for now). You can read a write up of a recent night they had there at Columbus Alive.
