The director of the Lord of the Rings movies, Peter Jackson, has been working on a remake of King Kong since he finished up those films (which pretty much exceeded everyone's wildest expectations). I admit I had mixed feelings about the project. I didn't really feel like the film needed to be remade(again), and felt like Jackson's talents would be better used on other projects.

I take all of that back. After viewing the latest trailer, I will be there opening night (Dec. 14th). The film looks incredible, the effects work on Kong alone would be worth seeing this one on the big screen for. Do the HD ones if you can. You need Quicktime to view this.
